LUT Library con­ducts tra­ining con­cer­ning biblio­gra­phic rese­arch, the use of the com­pu­ter cata­lo­gue and elec­tro­nic sour­ces of infor­ma­tion.

Clas­ses in LUT’s sche­dule:

• Library induc­tion- for 1st-year stu­dents (Ist degree)
• Infor­ma­tion lite­racy-for 1st-year stu­dents (II degree)

Addi­tio­nal tra­inings:

• Stu­dents and docto­ral stu­dents-clas­ses for the semi­nar and docto­ral gro­ups which con­cern deve­lo­ping rese­arch skills and library offers for the spe­ci­fic sub­ject or faculty,
• Aca­de­mic and didac­tic staff – clas­ses con­cer­ning the cho­ice of infor­ma­tion sour­ces and skills deve­lop­ment in their use, mana­ge­ment of biblio­gra­phy,
• Library staff- inter­nal tra­ining,
• Fore­ign stu­dents- library work­shops.
