Library

The main task of CINT Library is to support studying and writing academic papers, as well as to support research and professional projects requiring specialist literature. We provide LUT students and academics with scientific literature, scripts, course books, general, scientific and professional journals as well as other published information materials from the field of technical and other related studies.

The CINT Library collects current Polish technical literature and the great variety of foreign literature. We have about 140 thousand books and subscribe 57 Polish printed journals and 4 foreign journals.

We share our collections in convenient hours in different locations, such as General Student’s Room and four Faculty Libraries located at the following faculties: Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Management and Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology. All of them are located on campus of Lublin University of Technology, at Nadbystrzycka Street. Information about all book and journal collections is available in the library catalogue, where users may order the needed materials.

Moreover, practitioners may be interested in the practical resources, such as patents, shared in the Library of Mechanical Engineering Faculty and standardization, shared in all faculty libraries and General Student’s room.

Within the university network, we offer access to e-resources: full text and bibliographical databases, journal abstracts databases and databases with scientific articles and books of top international publishers.

IBUK Libra and BIBLIO are the favourite students’ databases. The CINT Library have also its own database: “LUT Employees' Publications Database”.

We belong to NUKAT- The Union Catalogue of Polish Research Library Collections and via it, to WorldCat (OCLC).
