Faculty libra­ries con­tain books and aca­de­mic reso­ur­ces adju­sted to the par­ti­cu­lar field of study. Tech­ni­cal libra­ry’s mis­sion:

• pro­vi­ding users with library, biblio­gra­phic and fac­to­gra­phic infor­ma­tion
• pro­vi­ding access to broad range of mate­rials -faci­li­ta­ting access to infor­ma­tion reso­ur­ces, teaching the effec­tive use of infor­ma­tion reso­ur­ces and offe­ring rese­arch assi­stance
• giving access to stan­dards 
• per­for­ming didac­tic acti­vity for stu­dents and aca­de­mic per­son­nel con­cer­ning library induc­tion, infor­ma­tion lite­racy and the func­tion­ning of library sys­tem
• docu­men­ting aca­de­mic achie­ve­ments of LUT employ­ees
