Patent Office of the Republic of Poland (UPRP)
A central government administration body whose primary task is to grant exclusive rights for objects of industrial property protection. It has been operating since 1918.
Visegrad Patent Institute (VPI)
An intergovernmental organization working to promote patent cooperation, established by the four countries of the Visegrad Group: the Czech Republic, the Republic of Poland, the Slovak Republic, and Hungary (V4 countries). It has been operating since 2016.
European Patent Office (EPO)
An intergovernmental organization supporting innovation, competitiveness, and economic growth across Europe. Its main activities include searching and examining patent applications and granting European patents. It has been operating since 1977.
European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO)
A decentralized agency of the European Union, providing intellectual property protection to businesses and innovators throughout the European Union (EU) and beyond. It has been operating since 1994.
World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)
A self-financing agency of the United Nations, comprising 193 member states. It serves as a global forum for intellectual property services, policy, information, and cooperation. It has been operating since 1967.
