Journal Citation Reports (JCR) is a tool developed by Clarivate Analytics that allows the assessment and comparison of scholarly journals across various disciplines using metrics included in the database, such as the Impact Factor. The JCR database is part of the Web of Science platform.
JSTOR (short for Journal Storage) is a digital archive of scholarly materials across various disciplines. It provides access to over 12 million journal articles, books, and primary sources across 75 disciplines. Users of the Library have access to the Mathematics & Statistics collection.
MathSciNet provides access to a database containing reviews, abstracts, and bibliographic information covering the majority of mathematical literature. It includes over 3.6 million records and more than 2.3 million direct links to original articles. Each year, over 125,000 new records are added, most of which are classified according to the Mathematics Subject Classification.
Medline is a database within the Web of Science platform. Maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine, it contains bibliographic records, indexes, and abstracts from over 5,600 journals in medicine (over 18 million records), pharmacy, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, public health, and biomedical sciences.
Nature is a weekly international journal publishing the finest peer-reviewed research in all fields of science and technology. Nature also provides rapid, authoritative, insightful and arresting news and interpretation of topical and coming trends affecting science, scientists and the wider public.
Science is a scientific journal published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). The weekly journal publishes research articles and reviews, the latest news in the natural sciences, commentary on science policy, and other materials related to science, technology, and scientific research.
ScienceDirect is one of the world’s largest full-text collections of published research articles, managed by Elsevier.
Under the national licence, we have access to journals from the Cell group (19 titles), the Lancet group (4 titles), and 7 thematic ScienceDirect collections: Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology; Computer Science; Engineering; Health Sciences; Immunology and Microbiology; Mathematics; Physics and Astronomy.
In total, this includes 1,597 journals, comprising 1,229 current journals with volumes from 1995 onwards and 368 archival journals.
Scopus is a multidisciplinary database of citations and abstracts from peer-reviewed journals, books, and conference proceedings. The Scopus database includes tools for tracking, analysing, and visualising research, providing the most comprehensive overview of global research outputs in the sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts, and humanities.
Springer Nature Link delivers fast access to the depth and breadth of our online collection of journals, e-books, reference works and protocols across a vast range of subject disciplines.
The database provides full-text access to articles from journals and books published by Springer Verlag and Kluwer Academic Publishers. The subject coverage includes engineering, economics, business, chemistry, physics, biology, environmental science, mathematics and computer science, statistics, law, and medicine.
Under the national licence, we have access to over 20,000 e-books and more than 2,000 full-text journals.

Web of Science (WoS) is a suite of abstract and bibliometric databases (citation indexes) published by Clarivate (formerly the Institute for Scientific Information, Philadelphia). It provides a bibliometric evaluation of journal citations. The suite includes the following indexes: Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), Art & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI), and Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI). SCIE, SSCI, and AHCI are collectively known as the Web of Science (WoS) core collection. The Web of Science package also includes the bibliometric database Journal Citation Reports (JCR).
The Wiley Online Library platform provides access to full-text scholarly journals and e-books in the fields of science, medicine, engineering, and the social sciences.
The national Wiley licence includes access to 491 journals (from 1997 onwards) and 2,450 e-books published in 2009 and 2015.
