Library induction

Library induction is compulsory for first-year undergraduate students enrolled in full-time and part-time programmes in all fields of study at Lublin University of Technology.
Note: Library induction is not compulsory for Erasmus students, as it is not part of their curriculum.

The classes aim to:

• prepare students to use the Primo library catalogue independently;
• familiarise students with electronic information resources and Library services;
• introduce students to the Regulations of the Lublin University of Technology Library and the rules for using library collections.

Organisation of Classes:

• The classes take place once and last 90 minutes.
• They consist of a lecture and a practical session.
• To pass the course, students must attend the classes and complete the required assessment task.

Locations
In the 2026/2027 academic year, classes are held at the following locations:

• For most degree programmes: Mechanical Engineering Faculty Library, room 11.
• For Civil Engineering and Architecture programmes: Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture (see the timetable for details).

Please note:
If you are unable to attend your scheduled class, please join another group. You are also asked to inform the instructor about the change of group.
