Until 18 November 2026, members of the Lublin University of Technology community can access a free trial of Scopus AI, Elsevier’s generative AI tool designed to support the discovery and analysis of scholarly literature. We invite researchers and students to explore its potential for research and learning.
Scopus AI allows users to ask questions in natural language and generates summaries based on information indexed in Scopus, including publication abstracts. Responses include references to the sources used, enabling users to locate the original publications and verify the information presented.
The tool can support a range of research activities, including:
discovering relevant literature and exploring new research areas;
identifying research gaps and developing hypotheses;
exploring connections between topics through concept maps;
identifying experts and potential research collaborators;
preparing in-depth literature reports using the Deep Research feature.
We encourage researchers, doctoral candidates and students to test Scopus AI using a specific question related to their research, a planned project or a thesis. The trial provides an opportunity to assess the tool’s value within individual research workflows. AI-generated summaries should serve as a starting point for further reading and critical assessment of the original publications.
Trial access is available until 18 November 2026.
