Circulation Desk and General Student's Room

Circulation Desk and General Student’s Room are located in the building of the Centre of Innovation and Advanced Technologies, room 308.

In Circulation desk you may find the books in the fields of technical sciences as well as specialist and language literature consistent with the university’s academic profile. LUT Library collection includes multiple copies and covers basic sciences, textbooks and course materials. It currently consist of over 100,000 volumes. In the Circulation Desk, users collect books previously ordered through the Catalogue.

General Student’s Room offers biographies, autobiographies, travel literature, reportage literature, popular science books, fiction and non-fiction as well as books and course books for learning foreign languages. Moreover, international students will find something for themselves among the collection of literature in English.

The library account of LUT students and staff is automatically created in the system. As for the external users with a deposit, their accounts are created by the librarians.

LUT Library is a space both for studying and relaxation. Staff and students of Lublin University of Technology, as well as other users interested in standards, have on-site access to the current Polish Standards (PN) and standardization documents (PKN) in electronic form on the special computer located in General Student’s Room.

Book orders from Circulation Desk are processed four times a day from Monday to Friday – at 8:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. Orders placed after 5:00 p.m. will be available for collection on the next working day. On Saturdays, orders are processed at 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
