Bibliometric Analyses

Activity areas of Bibliometric Analyses:

• coordination of activities related to the recording and documentation of the scientific output of LUT staff and doctoral students
• administration and development of "LUT Employees' Publications Database" 
• preparation of bibliometric and scientometric analyses to support the assessment of the quality of scientific activity
• support for Lublin University of Technology in the evaluation process
• cooperation with the Open Access representative at LUT and with the LUT Projects Office in supporting academics and doctoral students in research data management
• substantive support for the development of the institutional ROCK repository (Repository of Open Collections and Knowledge) and management of selected collections (Research Data, Patents) 
• cooperation in the creation of the BazTech database containing Polish technical journals
• provision of consultations regarding the preparation of achievement descriptions submitted as part of the third criterion in the evaluation of the quality of scientific activity
• monitoring of the University’s position in Polish and international rankings
• provision of individual and group consultations regarding analytical tools (SciVal and InCites), academic social networking platforms (e.g. ORCID), and bibliography managers (EndNote, Zotero)
• conducting Information Literacy classes for students, as well as individual and group training sessions on topics related to Open Science
• coordination of activities in projects carried out by the CINT (the Centre of Scientific and Technical Information), including task planning and organization, communication and cooperation, budget supervision, reporting, and archiving
